Why are WE buying things?

I would like you to answer to this question. That’s it!
Just tell me your “quick & dirty” why?

For those who didn’t have anything to answer or who love the subject, then the above shown Martin Lindstrom’s book is a must (I am writing this not because he is an old friend of mine :)

After 20 years of marketing I thought I knew the answer. But after reading this book I discovered that I was only at the 1st floor of a skyscraper. What truly influences our decisions in today’s message-cluttered world is much more complex than what I thought. Buying decisions take place below the surface, so deep within our subconscious minds… such a fascinating subject for those who work with creativity!

I haven’t found it in book shops…
Is it possible to buy this book already?

I think that there are 3 reasons for buying something:
1- I really need it;
2- I really like it and I want to make myself a gift;
3- I don’t need it and maybe I don’t like it too much, but if I don’t possess it I’m not cool enough.
